cVigil, the Android-based mobile application designed by the Election Commission of India to help voters register complaints related to the conduct of the Lok Sabha polls, is expected to be ready by March 18. It will be available on Google Playstore.
According to the district administration, citizens can lodge their complaints related to threatening of voters, causing enmity between voters on caste and religious lines, character assassination of candidates, exhibition of banners, flags and boards on the premises of private persons, and obstructing public meetings or jathas of candidates. District Collector S. Sambasiva Rao sought the help of political parties for a free and fair election process.
