ASUS has launched its latest range of new gaming laptops under the Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand. These include the ROG Zephyrus S (GX531), ROG Zephyrus S (GX701), and ROG Strix SCAR II, along with a desktop (GL12CX). These new ASUS ROG gaming laptops feature NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs, 144Hz displays, and advanced cooling system for an immersive gaming experience.

The ROG Zephyrus S (GX531) priced in India is Rs 2,39,990 and the laptop will be available from April in India. The ROG Zephyrus S (GX701) costs Rs 3,49,990 and will be available from next month too. ROG Strix SCAR II and HERO II series start at Rs 1,64,990 and goes all the way up to Rs 2,09,990. All the three variants are available in India from today. Finally, the desktop (GL12CX) starts at Rs 2,13,990 and goes up to Rs 3,29,990; it is also available in India starting today.

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus S (GX531) sports a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920×1080) IPS display with 144Hz refresh rate, 3ms response rate, 100 percent sRGB. It features NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q 8GB GDDR6 VRAM and is powered by the latest Intel Core i7-8750H CPU. The laptop features AAS cooling system, 12V anti-dust cooling fans, 5 heat pipes, and 4 heat sinks. It packs 16GB DDR4 2666MHz SDRAM and 512GB SSD M.2 NVMe PCIE storage. As for the ports, it has a single USB 3.1 Gen 2 (Type-C), two USB 2.0, one USB 3.1 Gen 2, one USB 3.1 Gen 1, one mDP 1.2 port. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11ac 2×2 Wave 2 WLAN, Bluetooth 5.0, and runs on Windows 10 Home.

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus S (GX701) is the top-end model of the pack packing in at 17-inches Full HD (1920 X 1080) display with 144Hz 3ms response time display and 81 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by the 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPU. Thanks to Pantone Validated colours with factory calibration and ProArt TruColor Technology, the laptop offers truly immersive gaming experience. It packs ASUS’s patented AAS cooling system that sustains high performance via efficient cooling.

The laptop creates the perfect ambiance for gaming, with per-key RGB Lighting and Aura Sync. It packs 24GB DDR4 2666MHz SDRAM, 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIE SSD storage, and two 2.5W speakers with Smart AMP technology. It runs on Windows 10 Home.

ROG Strix GL504 Hero II

The ASUS ROG Strix SCAR II and Hero II both sport 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS-level displays with 144Hz, 3ms, and 100 percent sRGB. The two are powered by the 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8750H six-core CPU with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics with 6GB VRAM as standard; there is also a Strix SCAR II variant that has NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 GPU with 8GB VRAM. Both the Strix SCAR II and Hero II feature the HyperCool Pro for thermal dissipation, even in the most heated battles. They also pack 16GB 2666MHz SDRAM and 1TB SSHD 5400 rpm + M.2 NVMe PCIE 512GB SSD storage, run Windows 10 Home OS, and offer connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11ac 2×2 Wave 2 WLAN, Bluetooth 5.0.

Finally, the GL12CX desktop comes in three variants: GL12CX-IN002T, GL12CS-IN009T, G21CN-IN006T.
