Vadodara: Student leaders linked with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Monday created a major ruckus at the Government Ayurvedic College campus near Panigate area of the city.
ABVP members accompanied with girl students of the college alleged that the security guard posted at the Gargi girls hostel, located just opposite the college premises, misbehaves with the female students.
In a representation before the college authorities, the students wing alleged that a majority of time, the security guard remains absent from the duties. They alleged that when the security guard is present, he does not pay attention to outsiders entering the hostel premises.
The student leaders also alleged that the security personnel behaves rudely with the female residents of the hostel, who study at the college, staying away from their native towns.
The representation by the student leaders and the girl students continued for quite some time after which the college officials assured the agitators that they will address their grievances.
