India vs Australia: Kohli gets annoyed with Pant after missing easy stumping of Carey, crowd chants ‘Dhoni…Dhoni’

Rishabh Pant who was brought back in Indian team against Australia in the 4th ODI failed to make any use of the opportunity. Pant, who added in Indian team in place of MS Dhoni, disappointed with both, bat and gloves. While he was fair enough with the bat, he disappointed more with gloves after he missed a stumping chance of Alex Carey, who was in great form. Spectators present at the stadium couldn’t stop themselves and mocked Pant chanting ‘Dhoni… Dhoni’.

Not only the spectators at Mohali stadium, Twitterati too came hard at Pant demanding to bring back Dhoni and Dinesh Karthik, dropping Pant in the upcoming World Cup squad.

Whether Dhoni retires or not after WC, promote Ishan Kishan or any other WK with sound technique but certainly not Pant.

Calm down clowns
If Dhoni was there, the game would be already over, he would have made 24 off 36 rather than 36 off 24 which pant scored.

While this wasn’t enough, when camera turned towards skipper Virat Kohli, he looked annoyed raising his arms towards Pant for missing a golden chance. Pant’s missed chance gave Aussies a single which brought back Ashton Turner on strike who was making most of his form. Watch video

Further, Pant also missed two stumping chance, one from Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav.
