The Meteorological Department has predicted the possibility of light rain or thunderstorm in the city on Monday.
Besides a generally cloudy sky there will also be strong surface winds, said the weatherman.
Maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 27 degrees Celsius and 14 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The Met Department said that the minimum temperature on Sunday settled at 10.8 degrees Celsius, three notches below average. The pleasant climate continued during the day with the maximum temperature being recorded at 27 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal.
