Ahead of the first teaser of the ambitious period drama on Tuesday, makers of Kalank have teased fans with new stills from the sets of the film Monday afternoon. The new picture are silhouettes of Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur - we have already seen these characters through posters of the film that were released online over the last week.

One of the images shows side profile of Madhuri’s character Bahaar Begum while another shows Alia from a distance. Varun’s back is seen in another image and Aditya is seen looking at a street.

While Alia plays Roop, Sonakshi is Satya, Sanjay Dutt essays the role of Balraj Chaudhry and Aditya Roy Kapoor is Dev Chaudhry. Varun Dhawan’s character is called Zafar in the film.

Kalank has an ensemble cast including Varun Dhawan, Alia, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi and Aditya Roy Kapur and brings together Sanjay and Madhuri after a long time. It is also the fourth film shere Alia and Varun are featuring together after blockbusters like Student of the Year, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.

The film is set to hit theatres on April 19 and the teaser is scheduled to arrive Tuesday afternoon.
