Indore: Congress party will set up war room in each parliamentary constituency in the state to inform people about failures of BJP MPs. Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee secretary Rakesh Singh Yadav said, “We are establishing war rooms in all 29 Lok Sabha seats of MP and BJP’s 26 MPs will be main target for us.”
He said Congress will make people aware about the functions of MP as BJP MPs are taking credit of works done by state government and civic bodies. “We will expose lies of BJP MPs before people and will let them choose the right person. We will tell people about lack of development in villages adopted by MPs in the state,” Yadav said.
Congress’s focus is Indore seat, which is a prestige issue for the party, which couldn’t win election from this seat since 1989. “We will start campaign from Indore and will inform people about sitting MP Sumitra Mahajan who couldn’t do anything for Indore’s development,” Yadav said.
Party leaders have also started brainstorming to select candidate from Indore. Names including Digvijay Singh, Salman Khan and others were circulated on social media but leaders said selection process is under process.
