HISAR: The fight between two notorious gangs, Sandeep alias Bachhi and Vinod, has become a headache for the jail authorities of Central Jail number 2 in Hisar.
It all started when a Nigerian was lodged in the jail sometime ago. A man, identified as Ajay, tried to threaten the Nigerian youth. When the Nigerian retaliated, it became a full-blown fight. Ajay called his ‘friends’ Sandeep alias Bachchi, Akshay, Ravi, Ashok and Jaswant for back up. But the Vinod gang members also joined the fray, fighting against Bachhi gang members. In the ensuing fight, members from Vinod gang, including him, were injured. The injured were admitted to the general hospital for treatment.
On Sunday, another gang member of Vinod, Sushil, was injured critically when Bachhi and his gang members attacked him again. He was hit on the head with a big needle. Hearing the noise, the jail security came to his rescue.
Police spokesperson Harish Bhardwaj said that in the first case, a case had been registered and second case is under investigation.
