'You're going to be sorry': Ex-girlfriend of one of Australia's richest hedge fund managers bombarded him with texts and calls in which she threatened to 'destroy' him after they split

The ex-girlfriend of a millionaire Sydney hedge fund manager broke her domestic violence order by bombarding him with threatening texts and phone calls.

Lauren Pollock, 38, admitted to calling former boyfriend Phil Mathews incessantly over an hour in January and texting him 60 times over two days last month.

Pollock and the businessman, who made the BRW rich list in 2011 with a net worth of $770million, split in 2014.  

Sydney's Burwood Local Court heard she called her ex-partner to tell him: 'You are the son of the devil… you will get what's coming to you,' The Daily Telegraph reported.

She also threatened Mathews, saying, 'you're going to be sorry' and 'if you don't keep your end of the deal I will destroy you'.

In a series of text messages, Pollock told Mathews: 'I have a new billionaire and I'm going to f*** you,' according to the agreed facts. 

Pollock will be sentenced in April for stalking, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and two counts of contravening an apprehended domestic violence order.  

Her lawyer previously told the court Pollock's split with Mathews had triggered her depression and anxiety.
