Paresh Dhanani draws flak for MLAs exodus

Paresh DhananiRAJKOT: Voices of dissent were heard loud and clear in Congress-ruled Amreli district panchayat over several party MLAs joining the BJP.
Leader of Opposition in the state Assembly, Paresh Dhanani, is facing severe flak from senior partymen in his hometown Amreli. Many are upset with Dhanani for not doing enough to stop the Congress MLAs from going into the saffron fold. At least three members of Amreli district panchayat have demanded resignation of Dhanani for the prevailing situation.
Chairman of district panchayat’s irrigation committee Bharat Gida, Lalbhai Mor from Vijpadi seat and Ramila Malani of Ambardi seat dashed off a letter to Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee chief Amit Chavda asking him to take Dhanani's resignation.
