Varun Dhawan, who has been forthright about his relationship with girlfriend Natasha Dalal in public, has now shown us the close relationship she enjoys with his family too. In an adorable post, he has claimed that his parents have given up on him and adopted Natasha. While Varun is currently in London shooting for Street Dancer with Shraddha Kapoor, Natasha was seen posing with Varun Dhawan’s parents, David and Lalli Dhawan, at Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s wedding.

Sharing the picture, Varun wrote on an Intsagram story, “my parents gave up on me and adopted another.”

Talking about Natasha, Varun recently said on an episode of Koffee With Karan, “That’s why I’m with her because she has her own individuality, she has her own voice which is super strong with things she wants to do and things she wants to achieve in life. And, as her partner, that is something I want to support, you know. And, she has been so supportive where my career is concerned, always, from day one actually.”

“Because I have known her, we were in school together. We were just friends, we weren’t dating then. But since day one she has been supportive of my dreams and it has to be the same. It has to be equal from my side. From my side, I have to be supportive of her dreams also, or what she wants to achieve, or what she likes. Eventually, I think as a couple you want to evolve together,” he added..

Varun was last seen alongside Anushka Sharma in Sui Dhaaga and is now gearing up for the release of Karan Johar’s ambitious period drama Kalank that also stars Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur. .
