To turn or not to turn -- that is the question Joel (Timothy Olyphant) must ask himself in the third season of Santa Clarita Diet.

In Netflix's new trailer for the upcoming season, Joel finds himself pondering his options after Sheila (Drew Barrymore) offers to bite him. This is, of course, after he helps his wife secure some fresh flesh by way of one Nazi neighbor and a meeting of meninists.

The two are doing well right now and seem pretty blissed out, considering their unusual circumstances, but Joel doesn't seem so sure whether he wants to accept Sheila's proposal for an entirely different kind of forever than the one he initially agreed to in their wedding vows. For her, being an immortal is just delicious and feels great, but he's not convinced it's for him just yet.

"It's not that I don't want to be with you," Joel explains in the trailer. "It's about what I might become. Once I make that decision, I can never go back."

We'll find out whether Joel's ready for the undead life -- and whether that pen stab to the chest quickens his decision at all -- when Santa Clarita Diet Season 3 lands on Netflix on March 29.
