AUTOPSY USA: THE LAST HOURS OF FARRAH FAWCETT
★
11pm, Seven
The late Charlie’s Angels star did her best to avoid this kind of muck raking by documenting her own illness and treatment in Farrah's Story. This celebrity grave-digging series went ahead anyway, grasping at straws to make a mystery where there was none. The woman had cancer, she had chemo, she died. How unforgivable that a TV pathologist should infer that her vanity about her famous hairstyle might be responsible for her untimely death. Just appalling.

9pm, ABC
As our young antihero, Raza Shar (Nabhaan Rizwan) is dragged deeper into his tryst with the fuzz, tantalising secrets are dangled about his intelligence officer puppeteer, Gabe Waters (Paddy Considine, Peaky Blinders). There's clearly also more to his rookie offsider, Holly Morten (Bel Powley, who played Princess Margaret in A Royal Night Out). This dangerously thrilling anti-terrorism espionage drama unfolding on the back streets of London invites contemplation on prejudice and the new class system.

Reporter Adam Shand (pictured) turns his attention to the sorry tale of former NSW Crime Commission Investigator, Mark Standen, in this instalment of the series that tracks some of our recent, less than prestigious history. Apart from those inclined towards a certain bent themselves, there are few who don't enjoy a corrupt cop yarn, and this, as we well know, is a beauty. The accomplished Shand presents a thorough recap.
