One held for murder of six-year-old in gym in Delhi’s Inderpuri

On Saturday, six-year-old boy was killed and a man injured when a group attacked the owner of the gym. The group had attacked the owner and his brother in order to settle scores, the police said.

The Delhi Police on Sunday arrested a man in connection with the murder of a six-year-old boy in a firing incident at a gym in west Delhi’s Inderpuri. Police said they have arrested one of the suspects while three others are on the run. “A case under sections of murder and attempt to murder has been registered at the Inderpuri police station,” said a senior police officer.

On Saturday, six-year-old boy was killed and a man injured when a group attacked the owner of the gym. The group had attacked the owner and his brother in order to settle scores, the police said.

The men who attacked the gym, identified as Vishal, Raju and Sunil, started firing indiscriminately. The boy, upon hearing the sound of the gun shots had come up to the window. Police said the boy’s father works as a contractual worker. Originally from Sitapuri in Uttar Pradesh, the family has been living in Delhi for the last 8 years.
