BJP president Amit Shah welcomes the declaration of LS poll schedule by EC today. In a tweet, Amit Shah said, "We welcome the declaration of elections for the 17th Lok Sabha. I call upon the people of India to turnout in record numbers and enhance the vibrancy of India's electoral process." Polls for 2019 Lok Sabha will be held in seven phases along with assembly elections in 4 states that will be held simultaneously. Polling will be start on 11 April and conclude on 19 May while counting will be on 23 May, 2019.
