Liverpool will be looking to move to within a point of Man City when Burnley visit Anfield at noon on Sunday.
The Reds slipped to four points behind Pep Guardiola's Premier League leaders after their victory over Watford on Saturday evening.
Sean Dyche's Burnley will provide a stern test of Liverpool's title credentials, though the Reds did win the reverse fixture 3-1 at Turf Moor in December.
It was an eventful game that saw a much-changed Liverpool team battle back from a goal down to emerge as victors after goals from James Milner, Roberto Firmino and Xherdan Shaqiri.
Team news
Dejan Lovren is back in full training for Liverpool but it remains to be seen if the Croatian will be deemed fit enough to play against the Clarets. James Milner is a doubt and Joe Gomez remains sidelined.
Burnley are without long-term absentees Aaron Lennon, Jonathan Walters and Steven Defour.

One eye on Bayern as Jordan Henderson replaces Gini Wijnaldum.
