Taking after her father, Freeda Foreman began boxing professionally in 2000
George Foreman’s daughter, Freeda Foreman, has reportedly died. She was 42.
Citing law enforcement sources, TMZ reported that Freeda was found unresponsive in her home near Houston, Texas, by a family member. The outlet also reported that police are awaiting a report from the coroner’s office to determine Freeda’s cause of death, but do not suspect foul play.
KPRC-TV, Houston’s NBC affiliate, reported that sources said officers with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office were called to her home around 6:13 p.m. on Friday night.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office and reps for George did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s requests for comment.
Although the two-time world heavyweight champion has yet to publicly comment on his daughter’s death, he tweeted Sunday morning about how “heaven send[s] so many wonders.”
“Heaven send so many wonders; too many to have questions about any one thing or event in my life. Lippizana colt just born on the ranch,” he wrote, alongside a photo of a newborn horse standing beside a fully grown horse.
The retired boxer owns a ranch in Marshall, Texas.
Taking after her father, Freeda began boxing professionally in 2000, and retired the next year with a record of 5-1, according to the Houston Chronicle.
She is survived by her husband, two daughters, three grandchildren, her parents and 11 siblings, according to TMZ.
