MSU syndic appointed GSYB state convener

Vadodara: M S University’s syndicate member Jigar Inamdar has been appointed as state convener of the Gujarat State Youth Board (GSYB).
The board, which is lying idle, works under the state sports, youth and cultural affairs department.
In December last, the state government had passed a resolution to hire 752 individuals from the board to propagate government schemes among the masses and relay feedback to the government on its various schemes.
Besides campaigning for government schemes, these ambassadors will have duties such gauging the people's opinion of the government on a weekly basis and sending a report, corralling a crowd to government functions, creating awareness on social issues among others.
Chief minister Vijay Rupani’s office had issued a one-line directive that all co-ordinators should approach citizens in their territory before the end of March. Accordingly, all the co-ordinators will work in alliance with the local BJP organization.
