JAMMU: A day after Border Security Force (BSF) apprehended a Pakistani national — who had inadvertently crossed over to the Indian side of the border in Ramgarh area of J&K’s Samba district — he was repatriated on Saturday afternoon.
A BSF spokesperson said the Pakistani national was handed over to Pakistan Rangers at the International Border around 3.40pm.
The goodwill gesture comes amid heightened tension between the two countries following the Pulwama terror attack of February 14 and IAF’s air strike in Balakot on February 26.
