Now, the company has gone ahead and added Bluetooth connectivity to the headphone with the launch of ATH-M50xBT in India.

Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT price in India, availability

The Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 18,490. The headphones are already up for grabs on Amazon India. The company is offering a 1-foot USB charging cable, detachable 3.9-foot cable with microphone for wired operation and a handy carrying pouch with the premium wireless headphones.

Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT specifications

The Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT are closed-back headphones, which flaunt a 45mm large-aperture driver. The driver is capable of offering a wide frequency range of 15-28,000Hz, which facilitates studio-quality sonic accuracy. The headphone retains Audio-Technica’s copper-clad aluminium wire voice calls, which were also used in the original ATH-M50x. As for the design, the ATH-M50xBT features a fold-flat design with 90-degree swivelling earcups accompanied by professional-grade earpads and headband. 

The left earcup houses the controls for phone calls, music playback and volume adjustment. The headphones also flaunts touch-control to let users access the whichever voice assistant technology is used by your smartphone. There is also a companion app for both Android and iOS platforms to tweak the headphone as per the user’s preference. On the connectivity front, the Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT comes with Bluetooth 5.0 and support for both aptX and AAC codec, for high-resolution audio output.
