Four youth killed as car falls into canal in Ludhiana

The car remainsLUDHIANA: Four youths, including a girl, when a car in which they were travelling in fell into a canal in Sarabha Nagar on Friday late night.
The deceased have been identified as Kashish Arora, Sania, Bhavneet and Divyansh- all alleged between 20-22 years.
The accident took place when the four friends were crossing by the Sarabha Nagar area around 11:45 PM last night in their car. The speeding vehicle hit the mesh installed at canal bridge near the office of Municipal Corporation Zone-D and fell into the Sidhwan canal.
The youths were taken out from the canal and rushed to a nearby hospital where they were declared brought dead.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Branch) Surendra Lamba who reached on spot said that it appears that car's tyre got burst. It is yet to be identified what caused the accident.
