Congress leaders’ wives cook for Rahul

Hubballi: Rahul Gandhi relished North Karnataka lunch at the Hubballi airport on Saturday. Sunita Ullagaddimath, mother of Congress leader Rajat Ullagaddimath, told STOI that she was told to prepare local dishes for Rahul. “Though I was intimated a day earlier, I prepared jowar rotti, ennegayi palya, shenga chutney, gurellu chutney, curd, chapati, rice and saaru for Rahul. I feel proud to have cooked for him,” she said.
Another Congress leader Altaf Hallur said that he was told to prepare non-vegetarian food for Rahul. “My wife and family members prepared parota, keema, mutton biryani and prawn. Rahul tasted the dishes after testing by food inspectors at the airport,” he added.
