Reservation for OBCs to be increased to 27 percent from 14 percent in MP

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Chief Minister Kamal Nath has said that the state government will increase reservation for other backward classes from 14 percent to 27 percent. He said that State government will also implement provision of ten percent reservation for economically weaker section of the general category in government jobs.

He said that all sections in the society should get opportunity for progress and the government is committed for this. Nath was addressing a massive gathering in Sagar today after distribution of loan waiver certificates under Jai Kisan Fasal Rin Mafi Yojana.

Yuva Swabhiman Yojana implemented for employment to youth

Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that state government is constantly working for the last 70 days for happiness of farmers and progress of youth. He said that he waived farmers’ loan after assuming the charge. In addition, schemes like Yuva Swabhiman were introduced for providing employment to youth.

50 lakh farmers to be benefitted by loan waiving

The Chief Minister said that we are working for empowerment of 70 percent people depending on the agriculture sector. We have a target that we bring such revolution in the agriculture sector so that entire map of the development is changed.

The Chief Minister said that our farmers are backbone of the economy and to provide them fair value of their produces is our effort. He said that purchasing power of the farmers will pave a way for fast development in the state.

The state government is executing a historical task to free the farmers from the debt under the Jai Kisan Wrin Maafi Yojana. The government is going to waive loan of 25 lakh farmers. After that, we will provide benefit under the scheme to 25 lakh more farmers.

Government creating new environment for investment

The Chief Minister said that government is creating an environment of new trust for investment in the state. Our youth is future of developed Madhya Pradesh. We are moving ahead in a direction to provide job to every person through investment. He said that it is unfortunate that the industries more than the industries proposed in the past either closed down or on the verge of closure. The government is making concrete effort to revive them.

Committed for development of Sagar

The Chief Minister said that we are committed for development of Sagar. New history of Sagar will be created with construction of flyovers and roads and development of IT Park.

District in-charge and Commercial Taxes Minister Brijendra Singh Rathore, Revenue and Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput, Cottage and Village Industries, New and Renewable Energy Minister Harsh Yadav also addressed the programme of Jai Kisan Wrin Maafi Yojana.

The Chief Minister on the occasion gave away certificates for loan waiving to 12 farmers as token. He also gave certificates and sanction letter to beneficiaries under Ladli Laxmi and Mukhyamantri Swa-Rozgar Yojana.

He flagged off 18 buses of Sutra Seva under Amrit Yojana. The Chief Minister laid foundation for 33 Gaushalal costing Rs. 10 lakh and performed Bhoomi Pujan and dedicated development and construction works worth over Rs 763 crore.
