A 16-year-old girl was allegedly assaulted by a drug addict in Hyderabad and later filmed naked, according to several media reports.

The incident reportedly occurred at Hyderabad's Gandhi Nagar which is occupied by several students and has seen several drug-related incidents in the past.

In this particular incident, the minor girl was attacked by the drug addict with a razor blade after she was stripped naked. The accused drug addict kept on filming her bloody body even after she requested him to let her go.

According to reports, the girl was in contact with a group of minor boys who may have been involved in the act but nothing concrete can be said at present.

Meanwhile, the accused has been arrested after locals rescued the girl after hearing her scream. He was also beaten up by the locals before being handed over to the police.

The drug addict has not been verified yet but is expected to be booked under POCSO Act.
