Varun Beverages on Friday announced the inauguration of its greenfield production facility at Pathankot. This facility will create an in-house production capacity for Tropicana fruit juices, dairy-based products, carbonated soft drinks, Aquafina water, Gatorade and Lipton ice tea. This will be the first fully backward integrated facility in India to manufacture the complete range of these products at a single location. The stock, however, slipped 1.27 per cent at ₹802 on the BSE.
