MS Dhoni has the most passionate fanbase among cricket fans in India. They are well known for their devotion to Dhoni and reacting to anything anti-Dhoni with fervor and fever.
The emotions are high with MS Dhoni appearing in perhaps his final game for India in his hometown of Ranchi. It is quite possible that Dhoni in all likelihood appeared in India Blues for the last time at his home ground on Friday.

So, it was no surprise that when Sanjay Manjrekar made a joke about MS being rested for the match, Dhoni fans failed to see the funny side.
Just before the start of the third ODI in Ranchi, Manjrekar tweeted, "Think India should rest Dhoni today." He ended his tweet with winking emoticon.

Needless to say, MS Dhoni was part of the Indian playing 11 for the Ranchi ODI. Before the match, MS Dhoni played a crucial role as he presented his teammates with the special army caps to pay tribute to the Pulwama attack martyrs.
