A woman has been rushed to hospital with abdominal injuries after a car and a truck slammed into a wall along the Ipswich Motorway on Friday.

The truck and car collided just after 6am while they were headed westbound near the Progress Road on-ramp at Wacol.

Paramedics worked on the woman before taking her to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Rhys Gibson of the Australian Traffic Network said the crash was cleared by 7.30am and that congestion had started to ease.
