Indore: In a controversial statement, Indore-3 MLA Akash Vijayvargiya , son of BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya, on Thursday dubbed Congress president Rahul Gandhi as “leader of donkeys”.
BJP workers had staged a protest at Agresen Square against Congress leaders seeking evidence of air strike on terror campus across Line of Control.
After the protest, Junior Vijayvargiya told reporters that it is unfortunate to see Rahul Gandhi rubbishing the claims of IAF’s air strikes across LOC.
“If Prime Minister Narendra Modi made the claim and Congress rejected it, it would have been understood. But if the armed forces are saying something you should believe and respect the same,” Vijavargiya said attacking Rahul Gandhi.
He stated that what message was the Congress president sending to outside countries by not trusting Indian armed forces. “Today we withdraw the title of Papu from Rahul Gandhi and accord him the title of “Sartaj of donkeys”, he said.
Indian Air Force had carried out air strikes across LOC claiming that terror camps had been bombed. Some opposition leaders had sought evidence of terrorists being killed in air strike from the Modi government.

Junior Vijayvargiya also stated that the donkeys are missing from Indore. When asked to clarify, he stated that the Indore donkeys had reached Bhopal. When asked whom he is referring as donkeys, Vijayvargiya in return asked who is sitting in Vallabh Bhawan? “Who has opened ‘transfer industry’ is also known to everyone,” he added.
