India could only make 281 runs chasing 314 after it had a terrible start, losing three wickets for 27 runs in 6.2 overs. Australia post 313/5 with the help of Usman Khawaja (104 runs) and skipper Aaron Finch (93 runs). For Australia, Pat Cummins (3-37), Jhye Richardson (3-37) and Adam Zampa (3-70) took three wickets each.
