Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu should be made ‘A1’ in the data theft case registered by the Telangana police, YSRCP leader Botcha Satyanarayana has said.
Commenting on the raging controversy, Mr. Satyanarayana told reporters here on Thursday that handing over data pertaining to Aadhaar, voter ID identity and government schemes to the IT Grids and Bluefrog companies was a big crime. The party would soon submit a representation to the Election Commission of India seeking action against the TDP government, he added.
The party admitted that it had lodged complaints in Form 7 seeking deletion of bogus votes. The authorities would decide on them depending on the genuineness of the allegations, he added.
The way Mr. Naidu responded to the controversy and got cases registered by the State police against their Telangana counterparts exposed his involvement in the issue, he said.
The TDP was providing shelter to the IT Grids CEO Ashok, he alleged, and demanded that he be immediately produced before the Telangana police. He said a delegation of the YSRCP would meet Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan again.
