BHOPAL: Tiger which has been rescued by Satpura Tiger Reserve forest team from Sarni on Thursday, will be shifted to Kanha Tiger Reserve.
Kanha National Park located in the Madla/ Balaghat districts of Madhya Pradesh. Field director Satpura Tiger Reserve SK Singh said, “Forest department teams were deployed for the last 15 days. Ultimately we succeeded in catching the big cat and it will be shifted to Kanha Tiger Reserve.”
Panic prevailed in the entire area of Sarni range for the last 15 days. Now residents heaved a sigh of relief with this rescue. Forest department and Wild Life Conservation launched joint operation to trace out and rescue the tiger.
Four elephants were pressed into job. Team with the help of these elephants, tiger was traced out and it was tranquilized. Its movement was traced in residential areas adjacent to forest region.
