TV's Airwolf Jan-Michael Vincent (74) dies

Cape Town - Actor Jan-Michael Vincent, best known for his role as TV's Airwolf has died. 

He played the character from 1984 to 1987.

Jan-Michael was 74.

According to TMZ, the actor died on 10 February after suffering cardiac arrest while a patient at North Carolina hospital.

The news of his death was only made public on Friday.

It is reported that no autopsy was performed and that he was cremated.

In 2012 he had is right leg amputated as a result of an infection that almost cost him his life.

More recently he starred in the 2002 movie White Boy.
