Goyal has said that free with will be available at 6,441 stations across the country by this year.

Addressing a press conference after launching a host of railway development projects, the said: "Currently free is available at over 830 stations and 775 more stations will be added to the list by the end of March."

"And these stations would also be connected with the progressively by September 2, on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi," he said.

The said that over 2,400 toilets will be constructed in the circulating area of stations with separate units for men, women and 'divyangjan' with low-cost sanitary pads dispenser, incinerator and condom vending machines, through CSR support from corporates like and its subsidiaries.
