Delhi man offered lift, robbed

GURUGRAM: A Delhi resident was robbed of cash, bank cards and mobile phone by three men after he took a shared cab from Shankar Chowk while returning home from work last week, police said on Thursday. He was allegedly thrashed by his co-riders for not revealing his ATM PIN.
The city is witnessing a rise in the number of robberies, in which commuters are targeted, especially on Delhi-Gurugram Expressway.
Based on a complaint filed by him, an FIR was registered under Section 379-A (snatching) of the IPC at Udyog Vihar police station on Wednesday.
