Designer Sabyasachi gets trolled for his Women’s Day post

Designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, who is known for his ecstatic and royal Indian bridal outfits, took to his Instagram handle to celebrate International Women's Day. The designer shared pictures of a plus-size brown model wearing a typical Sabyasachi attire which he captioned as ''This International Women's Day, celebrate confidence.'' The post seemed to have received a lot of criticism for stereotyping plus-sized women being reminded of confidence. The users questioned Sabyasachi for his idea of 'Celebrating Confidence' and why only on Women's day he decided to post a picture of a curvy woman, not otherwise.
