Seventy-four swine flu cases were reported in the state on Thursday, the lowest in several days, the state health department said.
After averaging over 100 for many days, swine flu cases declined below the mark for the second day after reporting 87 cases on Wednesday.
The health department said in a release that 20 cases came to light in Ahmedabad city on Friday, and 10 in Surat city. Five cases each were reported in Sabarkantha and Anand, and four each in Vadodara city and Mehsana.
Junagadh rural reported three cases, while two cases were confirmed in Banaskantha, Kutch, Rajkot city, Bhavnagar city, Jamnagar city, Junagadh city, Panchmahal and Amreli.
