Give us 16 MP seats for better control at Centre, says KTR

KT Rama RaoWARANGAL: Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) working president KT Rama Rao on Thursday appealed to people to give 16 MP seats to the TRS so that the party could play a crucial role at the Centre. Addressing party workers here, KTR said the TRS could have a decisive role only if the party gets 16 of the 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana. He said the TRS is leaving one seat (Hyderabad) to the MIM.
“What Telangana does today, the country will do tomorrow,” he said adding that several states are duplicating the schemes launched by the TRS government in Telangana. He said chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s proposed federal front will play a deciding role in the formation of the Union government . “There is no scope to for m the gover nment either by the BJP or the Congress independently. The proposed federal front will be the decider, ” the TRS working president said.
