Avalanches close Colorado highway and rupture gas line

A 20-mile stretch of Interstate 70 in Colorado has been shut down for hours after an avalanche buried the lane and trapped a tow truck. This comes after a different avalanche in the same area ruptured a natural gas line, forcing the partial closure of Highway 91 (though that road has since been reopened).March 8, 2019
