ESAF Small Finance Bank, which has completed two full years of operations, will soon introduce robot-aided banking services for customers.
The total branch network will cross the 500-mark by 2020 from the present 440 spread across 14 States and 113 districts.
During the past two years, the bank has added 10 lakh new customers, said K Paul Thomas, MD and CEO. Deposits of the bank increased to ₹3,900 crore, while total business rose to ₹8,900 crore. Speaking to reporters, he said the bank will celebrate the annual day on Saturday in Thrissur, where C Raveendranath, the State Education Minister, will inaugurate the second anniversary celebrations of the bank.
The bank has a capital base of ₹880 crore and more than 2,000 people are on its rolls. Besides the existing banking app, the new mobile app for UPI will be introduced to facilitate fund transfer and corporate banking facilities.
The bank also offers doorstep services and Hridaya Deposit Scheme.
