Now get unreserved tickets with Odia script on it

It will now be implemented in 317 stations in Odisha under the East Coast Railway.
BHUBANESWAR: The passengers purchasing general or unreserved train tickets from any railway station in Odisha will get Odia script printed on the tickets. Indian Railways will start this service from April 1, on the occasion of the Odisha Diwas.
The Odia script will be available along with English and Hindi scripts on the tickets. It will now be implemented in 317 stations in Odisha under the East Coast Railway, South Eastern Railway and South East Central Railway jurisdictions.
“Many people from Odisha, who have a problem in reading English and Hindi languages on train tickets, can now read the same in Odia script,” said ECoR sources.
Earlier on the day, Union petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan had written Union railway minister Piyush Goyal to take steps for printing of rail tickets in Odia language.
