WESTPORT — Concerts at the Point will present musicians from the Handel and Haydn Society on Sunday, March 17, at 3 p.m. This concert will feature contralto Emily Marvosh singing songs from Purcell and Handel, plus various combinations of instruments playing sonatas and concertos from Corelli, Torelli, Vivaldi, Pachelbel, Handel and Bach. Yes, the famous Pachelbel canon! Instrumentalist will include Handel and Hayden principal chairs from the large Handel and Hayden orchestra, including trumpet, violin, viola, cello, bass, and the keyboardist who is also the assistant concert master.

Concerts are held at the Westport Point United Methodist Church, 1912 Main Road, Westport Point. Tickets are $30, or $10 for students. Doors open at 2:15 p.m. for 3 p.m. concert. Open seating.
