Man tries to kill his wife, mom-in-law

Picture used for representational purpose onlyHYDERABAD: A 28-year-old man, Riaz Mohammed, was booked for stabbing his wife and mother-in-law at Golconda's Qazi Galli on Wednesday.
"Riaz, who is unemployed, used to quarrel with his wife Ruheena Begum every day. Fed up with his behaviour, she returned to her mother's house at Qazi Galli," Golconda inspector T Komaraiah said.
On Wednesday morning, Riaz went to his in-law's house and attacked Begum with a knife. She suffered a bleeding injury on her neck. When her mother intervened, Riaz also attacked her, causing an injury to her hand, the inspector said. Police registered an attempt to murder case against Riaz, who is on the run.
