Armed forces on high alert

The armed forces are maintaining high operational preparedness to “proactively engage any perceived threat in the present security scenario” with Pakistan, even as Army chief General Bipin Rawat visited forward areas to instruct troops to be prepared for all eventualities.
The IAF said, “A strict vigil in the skies to detect and thwart any act of aggression from Pakistan Air Force is being maintained.”
