Governor’s Secretary distributed citations to participants of flower exhibition organized in Raj Bhavan on Republic day
Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Participants of Bonsai and Flower Exhibition organized on the occasion of Republic Day in the Raj Bhavan from 24 to 27 January have been awarded on Wednesday. During this, Secretary to Governor, DD Agarwal has distributed certificates to institutional and individual winners. That exhibition was jointly organized by Department of Horticulture and Food Processing and Madhya Pradesh Rose Society.
Institutional participants of the exhibition, were SS Garde and Sushil Prakash from Madhya Pradesh Rose Society, Sahu and Princi from Directorate of Horticulture and Field Forestry, Nilabh Srivastava from capital project and Building Controller Narendra Singh from Vidhansabha, BD Bhumarkar and Laxmi Narayan from Municipal Corporation, PS Kirar from Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Center, Reva Jain and Smita Lunawat from Bonsai Club, Dr Kishore Shukla and Aruna Gupta from the Lake City Bonsai Association and in individual category, Prerna Prakash and Sartaj Yusuf have received the citation.
19th bonsai exhibition on 9th and 10th March
The 19th bonsai exhibition will be organized by Bhopal Bonsai Club in Rose Garden, on 9th and 10th March. The exhibition will start from 11 am on March 9th in Rose Garden, Link Road No.1. Bonsai Club’s National President Sneha Parashar will be participating as a chief guest in this occasion. The two day exhibition will have a workshop for Bonsai Lover on the first day that is on March 9, in which basics of Bonsai Basics to the new Techniques which are coming in trend will be taught.
600-700 Bonsai plants will be displayed in this workshop
In this workshop, competition will also be organized in different categories between the members of Bonsai Club. During this occasion, Members will be awarded in different categories like, Best Bonsai, Best Landscape with Stone and Plants, Best Rock Planting, Best Fruiting, Unusual Design and Group Forest etc. Eight gold medals, 10 silver and 10 bronze medals will also be awarded on this occasion.
