AMARAVATI: Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that Modi-led centre and Telangana governments are acting like economic terrorists to destabilise the AP government. He alleged that both the governments are resorting to terrorise people through IT raids and trying to replicate Bihar like terrorising politics in AP.

Speaking to reporters here on Thursday, Naidu said that Telangana government’s raids on IT company in Hyderabad were chiefly aimed at helping YSRCP. Election Commission of India (ECI) should take action against YSR congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy for making attempts to remove votes from voters list through fake forms. He questioned the authority of Telangana government in foisting cases on AP. He said both TRS government and Jagan were trying to destabilise AP.

Earlier in the day, Naidu interacted with the party leaders through teleconference. TDP supremo and chief minister Chandrababu Naidu has alleged that YS Jagan, who amassed assets through illegal means, is resorting to all unethical practices to capture the power in the state. He said that YSRCP’s plot to tamper with the electoral lists of the state was thoroughly exposed in the data theft case and party cadres are needed to take the issue into masses to make people realize that state would not progress towards growth in case they backed the YSRCP.

Naidu said that Jagan had multiplied his assets with the support of bogus share values and plotting to increase the vote base with deletion of eligible voters by submitting bogus forms. He said that people should question the unethical practices of Jagan and his associates. “All the political parties including BJP, TRS, YSRCP had their own apps to connect with their party activists. It is surprising that they are targeting TDP app with the help of Telangana police,” Naidu fumed. He said that YSRCP is trying to woo TDP activists with the support of the data base stolen from the IT firm which has been extending services to TDP. He asked the party workers to confront with the tele-callers of YSRCP to find out as to who gave them their numbers and why should they join YSRCP.

Naidu explained that TDP is stronger than any political party in the country as it had 65 lakh active members and 5 lakh seva mitras. He strongly condemned the way the TRS employed police to steal the data of their party cadres to help YSRCP. He said that TRS came into power only by resorting to undemocratic practices and they were trying to replicate similar practices in AP. Naidu, however, said that they could avert the YSRCP’s plots to remove nearly 59 lakh votes from the lists. He said that YSRCP filed fake forms seeking removal of 13 lakh votes in the first phase and their original target was to remove 59 lakh votes.

He said that BJP and KCR could not digest the way AP is marching towards development under his leadership and hatching conspiracies with the support of YSRCP. AP recorded double digit growth (10.82) all through the last five years and it was nearly 3.2 percent higher than the country’s GDP, said adding that AP bagged over 720 awards for its performance and they could have achieved better results had the Centre cooperated. Naidu claimed that they have turned the desert like Ananthapuram into horticulture zone and producing more fruits than Maharashtra.

Naidu said that they were remitting Rs.3500-the second installment of Pasupu-Kunkuma, into the accounts of members of women self-help groups on Thursday to celebrate the international women’s day. Naidu asked the party workers to stay alert till the completion of elections and thwart the conspiracies of YSRCP, KCR and Modi.
