Nitish visits slain CRPF personnels homes in Bhagalpur,

Bihar on Thursday called on the bereaved families of slain CRPF Ratan Thakur and Pintu Singh who were killed in the terror attack and the Handwara encounter respectively.

The slain CRPF constables father later told reporters that he presented the with a charter of demands which included requests for setting up of a degree college named after Thakur, a government job for his wife and brother, state assistance for the marriage of his sister and the education of his son aged four years.

He said the chief minister assured that the demands would be given a "sympathetic consideration".
