Mumbai: The foundation-laying ceremony was done on Wednesday at the Byculla zoo for the upcoming infrastructure development. The ceremony was conducted by the Mayor of Mumbai, Vishwanath Mahadeshwar. The works include raising infrastructure (cages) for Tigers, which the zoo plans to bring soon, construction of theme park and inspection of dilapidated structure within the zoo premises. Ajoy Mehta, municipal commissioner of the BMC was also present.
