The district police have issued notices and summoned 10 persons said to be involved in making lecturer Sandeep Wathar kneel down and tender an apology for his alleged ‘anti-India’ post on Facebook.

Speaking to The Hindu, Prakash Nikam, SP, said the police will give them two days to appear and record their statement. “We will proceed with legal action if they fail to appear within the stipulated time,” he said.

He however refused to reveal the names of the 10 for legal reasons.
