Indore: Close of the heels of a fake Army man who was arrested for his cheating habits, there’s more in store. On Tuesday, another person was as booked in Banganga Police Station for duping four youths on the pretext of “being” an army personnel, on Tuesday.
The accused was caught by the victim who brought him to the police station. According to police, on the complaint of Yash Chouhan, resident of Radhakrishna Nagar, Chandra Prakash Sharma, resident of Vidisha was booked for duping more than Rs 90,000 on the pretext of being an army officer.
The victim informed the police that Chandra Prakash introduced himself as the army officer posted in Uttarakhand. He had taken Rs 20, 000 from Yash, Rs 40,000 from Satyam, Rs 30,000 from Manoj Singh and Rs 20,000 from Rupesh Malakar for their recruitment in army.
“The accused was absconding for last six months. On Tuesday morning, the accused was seen wandering in the area by us after which we caught him and handed him over to the police,” Yash said.
