Indore: Physics, the subject that is a challenge for most science students, became more challenging with tricky and numerical questions asked. The CBSE conducted physics examination for class XII students on Tuesday, which left many students dejected.
Analysing the paper, subject expert Pravin Sharma said examination paper was “very difficult and lengthy.” Normally, CBSE balances numerical and theoretical questions to ensure that students can at least pass.
“Normally, numericals carry 15 marks. But this time, numericals were of over 30 marks,” Sharma said. Even theoretical questions were twisted and 5-mark questions that are theoretical also had an accompanying numerical. “Paper had higher order thinking-based questions, application-based question, much like competitive exams,” Sharma said.
“It was a tough exam. Questions were extremely difficult and numericals were worse. I doubt how I will score and the way it will affect my future.” -Mrinal Namdeo
